Comments: The Fossehill Fisheries have five lakes that range from an acre to three acres and the depths of the lakes vary between three feet and 16 feet. The Pond 2 is the more popular because of the specimens that weigh 34lb and also the catfish that reach 42lb. These lakes are only day-only waters but with pre-arrangement, night fishing can be allowed. The site has luxury toilet block for women, men and for the disabled. The anglers don’t have to take long walks to their peg. There are six car parks available. In the two lakes, match fishing is allowed. Children brought to the site should be supervised by adults.
Some of the rules to follow include the use of two rods only, no boilies, no keepnets, no barbed hooks, no ground bait, no fires and no litter. Fishing should only be done on the assigned pegs.
